The Faison School for Autism

The Faison School for Autism, located in Richmond, Virginia, is a non-profit educational center serving students and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. From diagnosis to adulthood, students are respected, loved and cared for by educational experts in the field of autism employing only the best methods and techniques.

The Faison School offers a unique, three-pronged approach using evidence-based treatment, research and community education to give students the tools needed to improve their life’s journey. Educational programs cover a student’s entire lifespan, starting at 16 months and continuing into adulthood, including day school services, consultation, after-school therapy, summer programs and home program support. The school’s approach is wholistic, seeking to assist the child, the family, and all who have an impact on the child’s life.

The Faison School for Autism is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, creed, or gender.

The school is accredited by CABAS® and VAISEF, whose accreditation process has been approved by the Virginia Council for Private Education as authorized by the Virginia State Board of Education.
